Wolverhampton City Council has renewed its subscription to the Response Master parking correspondence system from Barbour Logic.
The West Midlands council started using Response Master in May 2013 and parking manager Denise Eccleston has been impressed with improvements in the accuracy and efficiency of its letter writing operation.
“The system uses plain English, which makes the letters much easier for drivers to understand and act on,” said Eccleston. “As a result, it has dramatically reduced the number of follow-up letters my department receives and made the workload much more manageable.”
Eccleston says even less-experienced staff can use Response Master to create high quality letters because the system applies the relevant council policies and makes the correct decision about whether to uphold or cancel the PCN.
“In the past – especially in more complex cases – staff occasionally made inconsistent decisions,” she said, “but with Response Master we know we will always get it right first time.”
