Inclusivity – who’s struggling and how can we help?
Every year, half a million disadvantaged adults struggle to engage with the PCN process. Because their literacy skills are inadequate. If they need advice on a PCN they think is unfair, they’re told to write in. But they can’t. Or they struggle to. But there’s another way to help the disadvantaged. Cutting-edge technology means they can now call a 24/7 helpline, have a conversation with a digital agent, and get the advice they need. And if the caller meets the council’s leniency policies, the digital agent can write the challenge for the caller too, texting it to their mobile phone.
